TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES

DURING a 6,500 mile pandemic trek across america shortly following the capitol insurrection in early 2021, these pieces were created using only trash found along streets, railroad tracks, and empty lots in each of twenty US cities on the journey. How do we view garbage and what does it say about us? Are there connections between who we are, where we live, and what we throw away? In a period of fear, anxiety, and deception, this project aims to find renewal in what we’ve left behind.
